The development of the TerryWhite Chemmart brand comes following the merging of two of Australia’s most prominent pharmacies – Terry White Chemists and Chemmart Pharmacy. The newly defined company had a clear vision to change the perception of pharmacies in Australian’s mind. With a market driven by heavy discounting, the objective was to create a high-value proposition, steeped in care, health and wellbeing.
The solution looked toward the development of an ownable green cross – an icon known internationally as a symbol for pharmacy, but significantly underutilised in the local market. Seizing on the opportunity, the rebrand invigorated the company with a toolkit of fresh colours, vibrant pattern, an accessible tone of voice and image style laid the foundation for a nationwide update of all their store network.
